What is signposting?


SignPosting will be used to help direct Patients to the most appropriate Clinician, to enable the best course of care for every individual.

Every caller will be asked - For a brief indication of your problem.

It is important to answer a few questions to enable this to happen effectively.


The Medical team will include the following health care professionals -

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioners
  • Practice Nurses
  • Mental health Nurse
  • Nurse Prescriber
  • Health Care Assistants
  • Practice Pharmacist
  • Community Support

Home visits -


House visits are because you are housebound or that you are too ill to attend surgery. These requests should be placed before 10am unless, ofcourse, it is an emergency. Attendance will be an appropriate member of the Clinician team.



Do you experience low mood, anxiety, depression or stress? Do you have trouble controlling your emotions? Or difficulty sleeping?


You can now make an appointment with one of our Mental Health Nurses.



Do you have any questions abour your Medication?


You can make an appointment with the Primary Care Pharmacist.
